Samenvatting

  • Jeukende huidaandoeningen die specifiek in de zwangerschap tot uiting komen, worden op basis van klinische, pathofysiologische en histopathologische kenmerken onderverdeeld in verschillende typen zwangerschapsdermatosen.
  • Zwangerschapsdermatosen kunnen klinisch van elkaar onderscheiden worden door de zwangerschapstermijn waarin de jeukende huidafwijkingen optreden, de lokalisatie en de mate van uitbreiding van de huidafwijkingen en de bijbehorende typische efflorescenties.
  • Herkenning van zwangerschapsdermatosen is essentieel aangezien pemphigoid gestationis en zwangerschapscholestase (H. 27) geassocieerd zijn met risico’s voor zowel de zwangere als de foetus, waarbij verwijzing naar de tweede lijn geïndiceerd is.
