Samenvatting

De positieve psychologie focust op wat ons als mensen gezond en gelukkig maakt. Dat blijkt een mix van positieve emoties, het inzetten van talenten, goede relaties, zingeving en resultaten bereiken. Positiviteit maakt je creatiever, effectiever en veerkrachtiger. In de drukte van alledag raken onze behoeftes en wensen makkelijk ondergesneeuwd: we hebben ons aangepast aan de verwachtingen van onze omgeving. Het is voor ons welzijn van belang ons eigen leven te leiden, te weten wat wij ten diepste zelf willen. Te weten wat onze passies, talenten en waarden zijn, zodat we onze prioriteiten helder hebben en goede keuzes kunnen maken. We gaan van reactief naar proactief. Wij staan weer aan het stuur van ons leven. De oefeningen in dit hoofdstuk helpen je op weg.
