Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk wordt de professionele standaard besproken waar de tandarts in zijn handelen aan behoort te voldoen. Aan de orde komen verder de diverse complicerende factoren die een wortelkanaalbehandeling kunnen bemoeilijken. Deze complicaties worden onderverdeeld in factoren die reeds voorafgaande aan de behandeling aanwezig zijn én die tijdens de behandeling kunnen ontstaan. Ook wordt de mogelijke behandeling van deze complicerende factoren besproken.
